Classes Resume the 8th of April

End of Term - 2 Examinations will end on Thursdasy, the 29th of March.   The students and staff will then be on End of Term Break for one week from the 30th of March through the 7th of April.  School will resume on Sunday, the 8th of April.

I would like to wish all the students and staff an enjoyable and relaxing End of Term - 2 Break.

As mentioned all students and staff will return on Sunday, the 8th of April, for the last term of this school year,i.e. Term -3.   For some students this will be their last chance to improve their academic marks/grades.   I would strongly encourage them to stay focus in class, successfully complete all their classroom assignments, ask for help from their teachers in class, arrange days to stay after school for academic help with their teachers and to take advantage of SAPET (Saturday School) for extra help.

Grade 12 Seniors, there are only three full months left before the end of your Senior Year and graduation.  All of you will be taking the ILETS the 21st of April.  I encourage you to prepare for this assessment.  You will have your ILETS "mock" on Sunday, the 15th of April.  Please take this assessment seriously for it will give you a better understanding of what areas of the assessment you are strong and what areas you will need to improve.   I wish all of you the best on the 21st of April.

There is another assessment which is critical for all of you.  This is the IC3 assessments.   Many of you have successfully completed all three modules of the IC3 assessments.  Sadly, there are many of you, who have yet competed all three modules.  I strong encourage you to finish your IC3 modules as soon as you return from the Term 2 Break.

Again, I wish all of you an enjoyable and restful break with the understanding we have a lot to do this third and final term.

Sincerely,

Warren Baugher, Principal
